In 2006, I just graduated from SIM and unsure of my future. After all, I spent the majority of my life studying and my only duties were to pass my examinations. Upon graduation from the final stage of my education, it meant that my role was about to take a major transition, waking up to the realization that I have to start contributing to my household's income. At that point, I was absolutely clueless in my choice of career, so my father made the decision for me to join Peter Tan Organisation (PTO®) as he heard about Peter Tan’s success in the Insurance industry.
I needed to push myself further than my peers as I felt a great sense of responsibility to provide for the family as the eldest in the family as my father retired. It was truly earth-shattering to find myself burdened with financial responsibilities immediately after graduation. In this trying moment, I started to desire for success and to achieve an even higher level of income.
Before I knew about Peter Tan Organisation (PTO®), I was skeptical about the insurance industry and felt I was being forced by my father to take up this career. After attending Base Camp and meeting Peter Tan, I was inspired by his achievements and foresights. I’m very thankful to him as he took care of us like a father. Not only did he developed systems to ensure the efficiency of our client and prospect management, Peter Tan Organisation (PTO®) also have many courses for personal, professional and financial development. He always has our interests at heart. He is committed to bring Peter Tan Organisation (PTO®) to the next paradigm and be future entrepreneurs. Without Peter Tan, I would not have the opportunity to be part of Peter Tan Organisation (PTO®) and achieve my success today. Hence, I’m proud to be part of Peter Tan Organisation (PTO®).
Peter Tan Organisation (PTO®) provided financial planning courses and wealth distribution seminar to equip us with more financial skills and knowledge. In Peter Tan Organisation (PTO®), I also participate in Peter Tan’s courses, such as NLP TM and ultra High Net Worth program (aka multi millionaires), to develop personal growth and become more professional in the insurance industry. I’m really thankful that Peter Tan has given me many wonderful opportunities for learning and influenced me in many aspects of my life. With constant hard work, I achieved Premier Bronze in 2008.

With our culture of love, trust and respect, I have many supportive friends that kept me going especially the managers who put in a lot of effort to groom us. Their continous efforts in motivating people helped bring me this far. I am glad that I survived the tough times and become much stronger emotionally. My success as a financial adviser is also recognised by the awards I already have achieved and many more to come.

My beloved manager, Lifen and I

Another person who plays a very important role in Peter Tan Organization (PTO®) is my manager, Lim Lifen. She is very patient, kind and loving. During the first six months, she put in a lot of effort to give me coaching even though I did not put my first prority in work. When my father entered into financial crisis and mother had diagnose with a medical condition in 2006, I was devastated. I cried to her almost everyday. She gave me support and encouragement and believed that I can achieve greater things in life. Since I joined this career, Lifen has always given me feedback to improve my sales and personal character. I’m very grateful to be part of her agency. Hence, I work hard with her trust in me to achieve greater heights.
